Responsibilities : • Design, development, integration, and testing of embedded software for a network security appliances, including device management software, communication protocols, device drivers, and control plane security features • Work closely with a team software engineers to ensure implementation

Qualifications/Experience Needed : • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience • Experience in large complex software/hardware developments and embedded development • Knowledge of memory management, pthreads, inter-process communication, IPC and synchronization methods, strong software and hardware debugging skills (e. g. GDB, KGDB, JTAG probes) • Expert in C or/and C++ • Understanding of network security protocols and algorithms (e.
g. TLS, SSL, encryption, Open SSL, X.509 Certificates, etc. ) • Experience using embedded Linux (kernel and user levels) or like RTOS • Understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, and ICMP • Excellent organizational, decision making and communication skills • Active Do D Secret (or higher) Clearance Security Clearance : • Active and transferable U. Current IAT DOD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification (defined as having one of the following): Comp TIA Security+ CE, Cisco CCNA Security, or ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
