Responsibilities to Anticipate: Have the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance Develop software for cutting edge satellite ground systems with space network ground segments and users around the world Have a direct impact on the operation of new state of the art satellites that perform intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance for multiple customers.
Experience with the full software lifecycle including design, development, test, delivery, and maintenance Exposure to various technologies and techniques including Multi-Tiered Architectures, Amazon Web Services, Geospatial Visualization Tools, Digital Engineering, and Automation Frameworks that support advanced spacecraft
missions Work with modern Dev Sec Ops development practices and utilize Agile processes Basic Qualifications: Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of software engineering experience.
Experience implementing software using Java Active and transferable Top Secret U. S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U. S. citizenship is required, as only U. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices. Proficiency in object-oriented analysis and design Experience with Agile development Experience working within LINUX/UNIX operating systems Experience working with applications in the AWS Cloud Experience with microservices using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with Dev Ops and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development Experience with one or more areas of satellite ground system software such as mission management, planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics models.
The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 124,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 8 years of experience in technical architecture, with a focus on alarm signaling systems. Strong knowledge of network security and data encryption. Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion. • Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed. • Communicate with project team regarding ASI’s, RFI’s, and Material Submittals. • Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work. • Interface with site customer personnel to ensure conformance to Drawing/Hardware/Software/Graphics site standards.
• Coordinate commissioning and validation activities on-site with commissioning agents and site automation engineers.
• Schedule commissioning and validation activities with the Validation Engineering Team. • Perform technical reviews of test documents, software, and graphics. • Identify subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards. • Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution. • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team. • Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning. • Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings designed to coordinate the work.

PMP Design Build Institute of America (DBIA), LEED certification, preferred. 5-7 years of construction management experience. Understands project scope and customer expectations. R esponsible for a medium to large project, manages the contractual commitments of contractors including cost, quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities. High level knowledge of commercial/contractual complexity, deal structure/financial acumen, disciplines of supply chain, communication skills, C-level relationships.
