Job Summary: We are looking for both a proven technical and people leader in the
software development field. To be successful in this position, you will be able to provide hands-on technical support and delivery for the ideation, design, development, enhancement, and implementation of Master Data Management Software.
You will also have experience leading technical engineers, architects, and contract teams helping them successfully complete work, while coaching and mentoring them to meet their career goals. Responsibilities: Manage & lead a team of data engineers, architects, and contract resources to ensure both project deliverables and resolution of run issues are achieved by setting the team vision and determining high level design choices. Manage & oversee the
end to end lifecycle of a product – Estimation, Planning, Execution & Delivery, Backlog & roadmap management Ensure project milestones are tracked, measured, and completed on time Execute the defined strategy as laid out by MDM leadership team Work with Product Management to ensure product roadmap and vision is understood and team is executing against the highest priority items Manage contract developers to ensure standards are met and team maximum velocity is achieved Partner with architecture to ensure best practices are established and followed for development Bring and mature run and operational practices on the team Ability to pivot on deliverables as priorities change Requirements: 5+ years’ experience as a Software Developer 2+ years as a people leader in a technical space 2+ years of agile experience / SAFe experience Ability to work on a geographically diverse team Proficiency in using Azure Dev Ops for project management, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong coding skills in Python for application development and scripting Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs Knowledge of workflow automation tools and techniques for streamlining processes Understanding of serverless computing concepts and hands-on experience with serverless platforms such as AWS Lambda Excellent written and oral communication skills Apply to Compass Group today!
