About the Role: Job Title: Mainframe Architect Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for ensuring alignment of project-specific designs with application architecture roadmap supporting project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities. Defining the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage. Acting as subject matter expert (SME) for products that require integration into the application.
Minimum Qualifications: The candidate must have strong Cobol Mainframe development, design and architecture expertise.
Mainframe technologies (JCL, COBOL, VSAM, DB2, Control-M) The candidate must have Java-based technology expertise like Spring Boot, Microservice and JPA. The candidate must have Azure cloud migration experience. The candidate must have a banking or finance background using (Claims Payment System, Blue Gateway, Financial Payment Database, or Unclaimed Property) Ideal Candidate should be: The candidate works in a hybrid more (3 days onsite in Chicago, IL) Location: Hybrid in Chicago, IL Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $145,000 - $160,000 annually.
