completion of projects. Carry out market research, liaise directly with customers, closely monitor industry trends, and manage the technical development of the product.

Manage and lead an Engineering / technical team within the Firearm industry. Lead the design process for new products from concept to launch. Personnel growth & development. ensure design integrity. Manage budgets and timelines for product design projects.
Analyze customer feedback and competitor products to inform product design. Train and mentor product designers and engineers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies. Able to work cross functionally and obtain buy in. Provides adequate support, training and development to team members to continuously improve Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery and Productivity. Expected to be a contributor to the company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment and a positive work environment Other responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by the Supervisor and/or management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in Engineering or a related area; 8+ years of product design, product management, or related field experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
