role, you will perform the following responsibilities: Serve as subject matter expert and point of contact for topics in the ESH domain: Inspect locations, operations, documentation, and records to identify hazards Investigate accidents, incidents, complaints, and chemical releases Participate in multi-discipline ESH audits of operating locations Review plans, specifications, statements of work for new construction, renovations, and processes to advocate ESH requirements Document findings, identify potential corrective measures, collaborate with relevant stakeholders, present findings and solutions, and track corrections to resolution Prepare ESH administrate and regulatory reporting such as:

OSHA injury and illness reporting Environmental data collection and reporting to internal, Do D, and state/local agencies and regulators Prepare/update/manage office communications and events, to include: Quarterly Environmental Safety Committee meetings Internal website Newsletters, special topic communications, and other communications ESH conferences and off-sites Develop standard operating procedures, processes, written guidance, and corporate governance documents; periodically validate and update such documentation; and lead, support, and advance ESH knowledge management initiatives Represent the Government’s ESH office at internal and intra-governmental meetings and events Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with Poly is required Bachelor’s degree in either Environmental Compliance, Energy and Sustainability, Occupational Safety, or Fire Safety 10+ years of experience working in any of following areas: Environmental compliance, environmental auditing, asbestos/lead and similar hazards management, environmental data compliance reporting, environmental permitting; or Energy management, emissions management, sustainability, or energy data compliance reporting; or Occupational safety, workplace accident investigation and reporting, industrial safety, or industrial hygiene; or fire safety 3+ years of experience managing a large ESH program Experience with Do D Energy Management, Environmental Compliance, or Occupational safety programs Ability to collect data from multiple sources, backss, consolidate, and report in multiple formats and within prescribed timelines Excellent communication skills, ability to prepare and deliver written and oral presentations to a variety of organizational levels and to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, high personal initiative to identify areas of improvement, propose solutions, and to work those solutions, both individually and as a team Ability to travel domestically, for trips up to two weeks in duration Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to work with Occupational Health and Safety software tools Desired Qualifications: Certification in environmental or safety: A Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification of GSP, ASP, CSP, OHST, CHST, CIT, or SMS; or A Board for Global EHS Credentialing certification of CIH, QEP, CPEA, or CPSA; or A National Registry of Environmental Professionals (NREP) certification of CEA, CESCO, CESCP, CESM, CIAQM, REM; or Other relevant certifications in an Energy management, Environmental Protection or Compliance, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Fire Engineering, or related area Target salary range: $100,001 - $125,000.
