The company operates through Planet 13 Cannabis Superstore & Entertainment Complex and other sub-brands like Medizin, Trendi, Leaf & Vine, PURC, and Planet M.
The product portfolio of the brands is primarily cannabis products while PURC is a coffee brand. The company has expanded across the United States and has dispensaries in Orange County, California, Florida, and Illinois. What You'll Do: Create an exceptional customer service experience with guests through education, knowledge of products, and salesmanship. Ensure accurate transactions by
balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of shift, and sales at the end of shift. Process returns and exchanges according to store policy. Identify prices of products and services and tabulate bills with available equipment.
Assist customers in locating various products, resolving complaints, or providing information. Bag, box, and wrap purchased items. Create an exceptional customer service experience with guests. Assist and answer customers' questions concerning price and use of merchandise. Strong attention to detail and ability to solve and resolve problems in a calm, professional, and courteous manner. Participating in the upselling of products to assist in reaching the
company's set monthly sales goal. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the endocannabinoid system and all applicable properties and/or effects.
Comply with all state regulations pertaining to medical and/or retail sales. Comply with all cash handling policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness of all surfaces and register area. Computer Skills : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer systems. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must acquire an Agent Identification Card and be 21 years of age or older. Must complete interactionual Harassment Prevention Training and Cannabis Responsible Vendor Training within the first 90 days of employment. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
