The Athonet sales and presales team is responsible of selling the Private 5G Network solution from Athonet within HPE. Part of this team, the Athonet presales architect
will support the Athonet sales team in building the complete offer for various Private Networking opportunities.
Job Responsibilities: Manage customer RFxs to build a competitive technical and commercial solution in close cooperation with Sales. Assist Sales team to promote Athonet solutions portfolio. Deliver technical pre-sales customer presentations and able to showcase the product capabilities both remotely or at customer premises. Balance and prioritize customer requirements to guide product development teams. Capture market dynamics, follow competition offer and interface with product management to improve product. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, computer science, engineering or related field of study.
MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred. 10+ years of work experience in related field. 5+ years experience in pre-sales activities: building customer confidence, addressing technical concerns, and winning sales opportunities. Technical understanding and knowledge of both telecom and IT/cloud native markets. 5G knowledge and experience required. Knowledge of Athonet solutions is a plus. Familiarity with the Industry Standards such as 3GPP and ETSI. International business experience across multiple markets KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Knowledge of contract management and customer contract negotiation Strong track record of leading and winning key sales cases through technology Extensive team skills and ability to drive/influence cross functional work through others.
Ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects. Demonstrated success in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation, and analysis. Extensive business acumen including: various pricing models, business cases, ROI, and the implications of indirect and direct go to market motions.
Strong technical understanding and knowledge of the telecom industry; particularly 5G Ability and experience of operating at C level and building trusted relationships.
