Possibilities Manage SAS Batch Schedules on Linux using Cron. Manage all SAS product installations and upgrades. Work with SAS Installation (vendor) team on new Installs as needed.
Apply SSL Certificates and renew software licenses. Research and make recommendations on hardware and SAS software. Investigate, escalate, and resolve all SAS production support incidents - Client Installations, runaway jobs, performance issues. Escalate Software bugs reported by users to SAS Institute and coordinate hot fixes / patches. Maintain and execute disaster recovery/backups and restore File System and SAS Projects & Metadata as needed. Monitor Performance (I/O & CPU) and Disk usage on the Server and
make adjustments or recommendations as necessary. Reboot and Restart the Platform on a monthly basis to maintain the overall health of the environment.
Data Integration/Connection setup to various databases like Oracle, Vertica, etc. What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's in technology At least 5 years' experience in SAS Platform Administration Working knowledge on SAS Programming Working knowledge on SQL Programming on SAS Enterprise Guide. Working knowledge on Unix File System - Mount/Unmount/NFS Shared/Raid Working Knowledge of Unix Security/ACL/Patching/SAS Installation on Unix/Linux Working knowledge on Debugging User/ Server issues using Unix and SAS Logs Working knowledge on Managing Unix Servers in a cloud environment.
Working knowledge om ODBC/JDBC client configuration on Unix (Oracle, Big Query, etc. ) and ability to debug Windows Client installation issues.
