The ideal professionals would be joining to work on exciting transportation projects, with the long-term ability to work on a variety of projects within the foreseeable future. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following: Working, in collaboration with a team, throughout all
project stages, from conceptual design through to construction administration Solving complex design and technical issues Dependent on the level of experience, mentoring and guiding junior professionals throughout various stages of the project Production and oversight of design and technical documentation, including plans, CD sets and detailing Coordination with various external consultants, such as MEP engineers, structural engineers and other contractors Working closely with project managers and the principal throughout multiple projects Client liaison throughout multiple stages Coordinating and carrying out, bidding, RFIâs and site analysis Assisting in code reviews and building analysis
Candidates should have the following: 5 â 15 years of professional experience working in an architectural setting Experience working on transportation or aviation projects preferred Licensed Architect or actively pursuing licensure LEED accreditation desirable Strong understanding of NYC code and zoning laws, DOB filing and consultant coordination Proficiency in Revit, Auto CAD, Adobe Suite Rendering and project management software experience desirable Experience mentoring and training junior staff Strong communication, collaboration and teamworking skills Salary varies on the level of experience between $75,000 - $120,000.
