requirements of projects; review building permit process/International Building Code (definitions of building codes); verify proper compliance (building codes/violations); identify proper code applications (foundations, walls, roofs, floor materials to existing buildings); read/use/apply building codes for designing (buildings); submit building permit applications; prepare/develop presentation materials (site plans, floor plans, sections, elevations, renderings, animations); use visual aids to convey ideas of design for client approvals; use Revit to create 3D architectural model/3D interior models; prepare design development drawings/outline specifications; attend/participate in project team
meetings to present project progress; engage in discussion with team members to resolve design issues; assist in preparing background drawings for engineering consultants; coordinate with other engineering disciplines; conduct research/analyze building codes (California Building Codes, Title 24, International Building Codes, ADA, and other relevant codes) to ensure project compliance; assist in conducting research on architectural materials, finishes, furnishings; develop construction documents specifications/drawings in Revit and Auto CAD for building permit submittal/bidding; assist in providing construction administration services; and assist in preparing as-build/record drawings to close

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture plus coursework, internships, or experience to include reviewing building permit process/International Building Code (definitions of building codes); comparing/contrasting proper compliance (building codes/violations); identifying proper code applications (foundations, walls, roofs, floor materials to existing buildings); reading/using/applying building codes for designing (buildings); and submission of building permit applications.
