Responsibilities Administer and expand an existing Technical Development & Quality Assurance/ Quality Control program Involvement in early enclosure programming and schematic design of projects to collaboratively develop the optimal technical approach to meet project design and sustainability goals Regular involvement with project teams throughout the design and documentation process to advance technical development Implement innovative strategies in the design of high-performance building Schedule and lead technical reviews for all projects across the firm Management of on and off team reviews to meet the goal of well researched, designed, detailed, and constructed projects and enclosures Serve
as a resource for all staff for product, detailing, and material best practices Actively contribute to mentorship, office culture, initiatives, and learning programs Preferred Qualifications Architectural license LEED or Living Future accreditation preferred Demonstrated experience leading the technical development and quality assurance/quality control for well-crafted sustainable building Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Demonstrated knowledge of high-performance construction methods, technologies, materials and detailing Understanding of building codes, both local and regional Experience with various project delivery methods including CMGC and design build Excellent communication and mentoring
