The goal of the lab’s work is to decipher the design principles behind emergent cytoskeletal protein ensemble behaviors that scale up to facilitate vital cellular tasks, such as cell division, motility, and muscle contraction.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a Ph. D. (or soon to be awarded Ph. D. ) in biomedical/chemical/biomolecular engineering, biophysics, chemistry, molecular/cell biology, or a closely related field and have familiarity with in vitro reconstitution, microscopy, and the cytoskeleton. Prior experience in
cytoskeleton dynamics and/or single molecule techniques is beneficial but not required.
