This position is responsible for the care and safety of the patient's undergoing procedures where radiation exposure is required for imaging studies. The nurse will be required to have an advanced understanding of hemodynamics, EKG interpretation, cardiac medications and vasopressor drips, as well as a strong working knowledge of vascular anatomy. This position must have experience in moderate sedation and airway management and have experience working within a sterile environment. On-call status is a requirement and the nurse must be able to respond to the facility within 30 minutes of receiving a call.
Minimum Education Bachelor Degree preferred. Associated degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Minimum Work Experience 2 years nursing experience in cath lab, critical care or emergency department. Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
